After Gil showed me how the crab traps worked last night,  Erin's family suggested that we have a crab feast to break me in the Maryland way.  I liked cracking them but I didn't like eating them. I cleaned the old bay seasoning out from under my fingernails in the hot tub after dinner.

We flew into Maryland this week to visit Erin's Family. Today we drove out to Assateague Island to see the wild horses. They weren't very wild but we had fun lying on the beach.

Going Somewhere

It seems like I've hardly been home this summer, but I suppose that's a good problem to have.  This weekend was going to be our first weekend back in town, but we just weren't ready to settle down into the routine of things. So, we decided to take a road trip.  Dallas, Denver, Chicago...Nashville.  Neither one of us had been to Nashville before... so Friday morning we packed up the car and hit the road for an eight hour drive.  We got into town around 5pm, just in time to enjoy a beer at The Pharmacy.  We spent the next few days exploring the city and snapping a few photos.

Del Mar

I always wanted you to take me to the track. I knew it the first time I met you. I'll remember the sunshine and you sipping blue moon from that plastic cup. This is my favorite photo of us by the way.

San Diego Break

Took a little trip to San Diego with Erin over Christmas break. It felt good to be in the warm weather. We hiked around Torrey Pines, ate burritos and walked the beach.  She took me to all the sweet spots.

Etsy Shop

I started an etsy shop a few weeks ago. I've already had 13 sales. Erin and my brother have been helping me model and snap some photos. It feels good to finally move some of these clothes out of my room. You can view my shop here:

Squirrel Watching

The weather has been pretty nice this week. 70 degrees in December is pretty rare, so I opened the windows and put on a record. Wish I had a better view, but Marvin seems to like it alright.
